HANDMADE is the the word that comes to mind when you look at the work of the Icelandic Rome based designer Hildur Hinriksdóttir. she is a true artiscan sprouted from a tradizion that is pased on through Icelandic generations through out the centuries. 

Hildur graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design, Torino and Rome, in 2000.  She has since worked as a fashion designer and costume designer.

She has specialized in hats for adults and children but has through the years designed outfits for Margrét Eir, an Icelandic singer/actress.
As a costume designer she has designed for different Theatrical productions like Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart and many more.

Hildur now lives in Rome with her director husband Ingo Arnason and two sons. She can't limit  herself to one tipe of design/craft. Sewing, knitting, crochet, jewelrymaking etc. are her thing! Always curious to learn and do new things.
