Let´s take off

Ok, it´s time to take off.

Let´s start with an introduction. 

I´m Hildur, the owner and designer of the Label HilduR.  It used to be HiN design but I decided to rebrand it to move on with the times.  

So; facts about me:

• I´m a 50 year old designer
• Icelandic
• Have lived in Rome, Italy for the last 10 years.
• Mother of two boys, 14 and 18 years old.
• Married to my only love for 20 years.
• An artisan
• Knitter
• Seamstress
• Crochetter
• Crafter

For the last 20 years I have been creating endlessly, I was the Head of Costume department of the Icelandic opera for 3 years. I have worked as an costume designer for theatre and opera and I have made dresses for different occasions, weddings, proms, special occasions. 

Now I divide my time between knitting and making earrings. 

I love the idea of recycling.

And my earring collection is born from that idea.
